With nearly 10 years of experience in Public Relations, Courtenay is an expert media strategist, who has gained client coverage in local, regional and national media.

She has worked with the nation’s largest property management group, California's fastest growing insurance brokerage, an emerging 3D technology company, the country’s leading workforce investment board, and others. She has placed client stories on the Los Angeles ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX affiliates, numerous radio stations, as well as print coverage in Riviera, Orange County Register, Orange County Business Journal, The Los Angeles Times, Common Ground Magazine, Condo Management, Wind Systems Magazine, Foundation Drilling Magazine, Riviera Magazine, Gentry, 944 Magazine, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Star-Ledger, Twist, Bridal Guide, Washington Life, Cincinnati Enquirer, Diversion, Family Circle, Variety, The San Diego Union-Tribune and Insider Magazine. Kendra Whitmire is an Associate with J. McLeish Public Relations. She handles writing and editing for JMPR’s clients and her experience includes writing a variety of pieces, including blogs, reviews, press releases, website content, and op ed pieces. She graduated cum Laude from USC with a BA in English and German and has two masters’ degrees in English from the University of Birmingham in England, specializing in Shakespeare Studies. Kendra also manages a talented cinematic pianist, Paul Spaeth. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, running, yoga and reading.
